The Mintrex Board is pleased to announce the appointment of John Sobolewski as Chief Executive Officer with effect 1st October, 2021.
Fiona Morgan, our MD and CEO for six years, has decided to step down to pursue a Board career. Fiona has been a guiding light at Mintrex for 15 years in a variety of roles, and the Board thank her on behalf of all shareholders and staff, present and past, for her service.
We are delighted that our new CEO is an internal candidate. John has broad experience in the mining industry, including in executive roles with companies within the resources industry in Western Australia. John’s previous roles include CFO and Company Secretary with Galaxy Resources Limited and Vital Metals Limited, Financial Controller and Company Secretary with Croesus Mining NL and Group Accountant and Company Secretary with Titan Resources NL. John also sits on the board of two not-for-profit entities, one of which he Chairs.
We are also delighted that Fiona will remain on the Board as a Non Executive Director from 1st October, bringing continuity and Fiona’s experience to benefit Mintrex.
